Hi, I'm Lindsay,

A kendal based landscape artist working primarily with acrylics and alcohol inks.

Having grown up in Cumbria, nature has always been a constant source of inspiration through my life. It brings me back to an inner calm and a sense of belonging within the wider natural world.

From the dramatic silhouettes of the Lake District hills to the delicate up-close details of grasses swaying in the wind, I'm drawn to all the elements that create such a strong sense of place here in the lakes. My aim is to capture the feeling of these moments and share that sense of connection to nature through my work.

Sometimes I take a more abstract and intuitive approach to my process, focusing on expressing a feeling in a more fluid manner, whilst other times I aim to recreate specific places of interest and capture a moment exactly as I experienced it.
