Being born and bred in Cumbria has given me a deep love of mountains and the natural environment which is reflected in my paintings. These are mostly in mixed media, often using collage, ink and other materials as I particularly like the random and unexpected effects these can create.

My paintings are developed in the studio from sketches made out on the fells where I try to portray the weather.
