I’ve been creating in one form or another from a very early age, my mother was always making something.
I’ve experimented in many different crafts from painting, quilting, embroidery, handbag making, beading, needle felting and jewellery making. My main passion for the last 21 years has been teaching Decorative Painting. Then I went to Canada two years ago and discovered Paverpol. This is a non-toxic liquid polymer fabric hardener which when it’s completely dry is weather resistant. It is so versatile with endless possibilities.
I have so many ideas in my head. I use recycled and up-cycled items and natural fibres in my sculptures.
This now is my main passion and I have created many sculptures ranging in size from a few inches to over 3 feet. All sculptures start with wire armatures carefully strengthened to withstand the elements of year-round weather they can be exposed to.
