I am an artist and walker and recently moved to Cumbria to combine these two practices. My work explores human relationships with nature through an adaptive and responsive art practice.

I pursue personal exchanges with nature in those wilder places which facilitate such exchange and hope to capture something of this through my artwork. I enjoy experimenting with different art forms, however drawing and writing are at the core of my practice and inform most of my work.
I am a strong advocate for creative activity as a means of encouraging engagement with nature and have begun to lead outdoor art workshops. I recently completed my MFA in Fine Art and am now undertaking a Mountain Leader Award which will allow me to take groups out into mountainous areas for the purposes of being creative.
