I joined Windermere Art Society in 2024 and discovered a previously unknown affinity for art. Now I mostly work in charcoals (plus pen and ink, pastels and an occasional foray into watercolour), from life or based on my own photos, and inspired by quirky or unusual views and corners of my beloved Lake District, the north-west of England and beyond.
