I work mainly in acrylic on paper but love experimenting with different media. Lately, I’ve been exploring gelli-plate printing and have just started to try encaustic art. My work is abstract, inspired by the tiny details in nature that catch my eye—textures, patterns, and the way light shifts across surfaces. Colour is everything to me, and I love how it interacts with layering and form.

Living in a small rural village in the Lake District, I’m constantly inspired by the changing colours and shifting light. No two days are ever the same, and the seasons transform the views from my cottage, influencing my work and keeping it evolving.

I work intuitively, letting each piece unfold as I build up layers—sometimes scraping back, sometimes obscuring, always playing with depth and balance. My paintings and prints are usually small and intense, but I’m beginning to work on a larger scale, giving them more space to breathe. I’m still learning through trial and error and enjoying every step of the process.
