I have a strong affinity with nature particularly movement in birds and other winged creatures. I sketch and studies trees in the natural environment surrounding my Cumbria Studio and flowers in exotic gardens. Also watercolour landscapes and Dreaming are recent themes in my work.

The etching process is my main medium; also I work in monoprint and woodcut often combining processes using collage for colour and texture. I do not seek to create a likeness but rather to achieve a magical moment or thought process which could be an abstract concept.
