We are a self-managed, not-for-profit artists’ co-operative, committed to bringing artists together and making contemporary art accessible to local residents and visitors to the area. To achieve this, we run a variety of events, from social get-togethers and exhibitions in local venues, to the annual
Green Door Art Trail – now in its 7th year and a great way to meet and talk to Green Door artists and buy work direct.
Today we have an extended membership of over 100 artists drawn from throughout South Lakeland and the surrounding area. Anyone can join Green Door – whether you’re an established artist or someone just starting out on your creative journey. For us, it’s about supporting each other along the way and providing opportunities to network, exhibit and get involved in the arts community.
Our membership is made up of artists working across all art forms – and you’ll find information, images and contact details for a wide selection of members under Artists. Feel free to contact the artists directly if you’d like to purchase their work or find out more about their practice.
